The popular comedian who was a year older on the 19th of August, was treated to a surprise birthday party from his wife and friends when he woke up that morning.
It happened that AY woke up that day and as he opened his bedroom door he was greeted with a loud scream of 'happy birthday' from family and friends.

The comedian donated his kidney to his elder brother, Morris Okeremute who suffered a recent kidney failure and urgently needed a transplant to survive. The transplant was done in India.
Speaking in a recent interview, Iruvwe Okeremute popularly known as De-Don who got married last year said:
"My brother started having this kidney problem in 2009. My elder sister donated her kidney to him at the time but unfortunately in January 2013 the kidney failed because he didn't take his drugs for some weeks because the drugs he ordered from India arrived late.Click Here For More...

UNIBEN - 1999When the posters came up on the hostel walls that there was going to be a Talent hunt show coming up which was organised by Femi Akinwunmi, I quickly registered for it as a rapper. The star price was a CD player..my dream. I imagined being able to replace our old cassette player and put on a CD like the rest of the boys.
I practised my lines and waited for d-day. 3 days to the event, I woke up with fever and to find my body covered with little sores...I had chicken pox. I used calamine lotion like my life depended on it, but they only seemed to increase by the day.
